Complication often comes about when the question/requirement isn't clear. If you could explain what you are trying to do, and why, with a few more details, then a simpler answer/solution might appear.
The main thing here is ... how does the system determine to which site User_A is to be redirected?
Sure, sorry for not being clear. Lets assume that the User is created under the Parent portal www.mainsite.com
The admin sees a new user is created but has not given the user any security roles yet. The admin sees that this is a new client of his so, the admin creates a child portal called CHILD1 for this USER under www.mainsite.com/Child1
The admin creates a new SECURITY ROLE called "Child1 Client" for this new USER. Admin gives new USER the security role "Child1 Client" and the new user has access to all webpages under www.mainsite.com/Child1.
New USER gets an e-mail that account has been approved. New USER logs into the parent portal at www.mainsite.com.
What I would like the log in system to do is recognize the new USER belongs to the security role "CHILD1 Client" and redirects to a default page in www.mainsite.com/Child1/Default.aspx.
Hope this helps. Thanks again.
