We are looking for a new CMS and what I have seen thus far from DNN is right up our alley, but I need to be able to continue using content tagging.  I am assuming this is something I will need to build in in .NET, not a problem, but is anyone else already doing this?

There are modules that you can add to DotNetNuke to be able to add tags. Go to Snowcovered.com and search for "tag cloud."

I would probably start with "DNN Universal Tag Cloud" from Inspector IT, Inc. I'd do this only because I happen to know Antonio Chagoury, the developer. Puffer.at Tag Cloud also looks interesting. There are also modules from Venexus, Data Springs, and Ifinity. All three of those companies are well known to create very good modules.

Hi, I'm the author of the iFinity Tagger module. The iFinity Tagger module is a little different from a lot of the other offerings in the DNN tagging space, as it doesn't work off the search index for tagging items. The Tagger module allows you to tag pages of content manually with whatever tags you would like. It then shows these tags as portal tag clouds (all tags in portal) and page tag clouds (all tags on that page).
