This is driving me crazy! I have a skin that works fine, no issues. I make a copy of that skin, rename it, change a little content (rearrange and rename the contentpanes) and then upload it to the site.

It looks like it should but I am unable to logout. All it does is hide the modules on the page. I have to go to a page that is using the other skin for logout to work. I've even tried creating a new page with no content just to be sure that it's not something else but it has to be the skin. I've tried deleteing the skin and uploading it again. I've deleted the skin from the portal, deleted from my machine and started over (using the same method to create it, copy, rearrange, etc.) giving it a different name too but NO LUCK. I've even tried making a copy of the skin with no modifications, only a different name but it still will not logout!

I've been doing this for a while and have never had this issue, it is so strange. My portal is 4.9.

My skin is an html skin. I wonder if it would make a difference if it was a ascx skin. Can anyone help!?

It's hard to tell what this problem is without viewing your live site, do you have a link you can share?

Have you tried creating a new page with your new skin, check that log off does not work, and then go back to the page, and select the original skin that does work for the page settings - are you now able to log out?

Thanks for replies guys. You both are great. I was able to get things working by logging-in as host, deleting the skins and then uploading them again. I have no idea what was causing the issue in the first place but it seems to have worked itself out. Thanks again for helping out!
