Hi I have recently done a number of new installs both locally (LocalHost) and on hosting platforms What I notice is that when the site fire up the menu bar is there but there are no option on it. That is no home, Admin or Host. By using host properties I am able to load SOLPARTMENU skins that give me the Menu, but I really want to use NAVmenu. This only happens in Internet Explorer 7 and 8. Firefox and Google Chrome are fine. The menu should display, this site is actually using the house menu, but the navmenu works fine.

Are you using the install package to install DotNetNuke? Which version are you installing?

When the page loads up, try pressing CTRL+F5 to clear the cache and reload the page

Deep Joy --- Turns out that DNN 4.9.4 is OK. Have just done a fresh install and IE8 shows no menu items but Firefox does. Checked with a colleague and his IE8 is fine. If this problem is occurring with IE8, try clicking the compatibility button to make it render the page in IE7 mode. Does that fix the problem?
