Hi,Im really hoping someone can help as i have an urgent issue. We had decided to add more ram to the server where DNN lives. The box is solely used for DNN.Since this was done and the server re-booted out of hours last night, things have stopped working. The site URL still resolves and everything appears to look fine. However, we are using the AD provider which was also working fine with roles for users etc. Today when people are hitting the site its removing the roles from the DNN database. Nothing has changed in AD, the roles/users are still set up.To try and resolve this issue i took the following steps:1. Deleted my cookies/cache and hit the site again.2. Restarted IIS on the server.3. Verified the root domain account used for the AD provider in DNN.4. Deleted my user from the DNN database and started again.None of these steps have made a difference. Once I logged in again after step 4, it just re-created me in the DNN database but without the roles I am assigned to in AD?
I have really run out of ideas why this issue has now occurred, apart from the fact the server was re-booted.Any help/info/ideas would be very very much appreciated!ThanksKevin.
My panic is over. We decided to re-boot the server, after doing so all seems fine. I am now looking at why this may of fixed the issue. There was nothing in any of the event logs.
If I find out anymore information, ill post it to maybe help in the future.
