I've seen a few anchor questions floating around the forum. But haven't seen any that would answer my question - I want to put dropdown links in the top (horizontal) nav that point to anchors on one page. This would mean when your are not on that page, the dropdown link would jump to that page to the appropriate anchor. When you are on that page, the link would shoot you down to the correct anchor. Any step-by-step for getting these kinda links into the top nav would be appreciated. I'm new to DNN!

A "page" can be a URL if you set it up that way in the page settings.

So, you could have that as the page in the menu, and the URL could point to an anchor tag in another page that's not included in the menu system.

hmmm. Let's see if I understand you correctly.
- create a new page
- checkbox "include in menu"
- make it a child of the page in question
Then under ADVANCE options:
- links URL > select radio button Page ( A Page On Your Site )
- then from the dropdown menu select page in question

This all works (if it's what you're talking about), BUT I still don't see how to add the anchor link.

You can add the anchor link in a Text/HTML module on the page.

I added anchor links using the URL radio button. But I added many links and they are now all absolute links (there's about 15 total). Since we are working on a development server (which the customer needs to review on), this means when we go live, I have to go back and change all the links to the new absolute URL's. Am I doing this incorrectly?
