Unhandled Error

Error	Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool. This may have occurred because all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached.

What does this error message mean? After it happes, once I enter the installation string "/install/install.aspx ... the applicatio works again, but it happens very often, and exactly then, when I want to test a Evens module and try to register.  Could it be that somethig is wrong with the module or the installation of DNN?

The "pooled connections" refer to the database connection. It might be that you are getting a lot of hits on the database, and the database server isn't configured to handle them.

I'd Google around for the error and see if something. Here is one that I turned up:

"This problem occurred most probably because of connection leak. Either the connection string do not close properly or consistently.

When you intend to close your database connection, you want to make sure that you are really closing it. "

If this is occurring in a custom module, I'd look for proper closing and disposing of database connections.
