Update panel error

Hi,
Today I have come up with a problem which I cannot find out why it occurs.

The version of DNN I am using is 4.7.

The error I get is

A critical error has occurred.
The control with ID 'up1' requires a ScriptManager on the page. The ScriptManager must appear before any controls that need it.

up1 is the id of an update panel.

Whenever the client adds a new page and deletes some of the modules on the page and updates teh HTML module he gets it.

But when I try it on the site I dont get this error. No Idea as to how to solve this problem. Please Help

That is an AJAX error, and it indicates that AJAX may not be installed. I don't remember what you need to do to use AJAX with DotNetNuke 4.7. I'd recommend looking in the DotNetNuke forums. But, if it is possible I would recommend updating your installation to version 4.9.3. It should be a very simple process: just unzip the 4.9.3 upgrade package on top of your web directory and then browse to your site. Make database and web directory backups first.
