I'm new to DNN - although experienced in development I feel a bit on my own with how to manage skinns in v 5.0 - this is why I'm hoping that one of you gurus of DNN design could help.

v 5.0 is my frist contact with DNN and after deciding that I really like the features I got to styling etc. There is a lot on the subject (with great tutorial videos) for v 4.x but as to v 5 I'm told it's not much different and the list of differences - when in fact it is very different and for instance you can't even choose your skinns in the same way!

If you have v 5 and have been styling your site (and handling the layout) with it, can you  point me to a tutorial or help in some way.

I don't think there's much content out there at the moment for DNN 5, I will be covering tutorials soon on DNN 5, but I am waiting until a stable version is released which should be v5.1 due in April (hopefully) - things always change and get moved around in the initial stages of a release, which is why I am waiting until I begin creating tutorials on v5.x, but hopefully with the 5.1 release, elements for skins should be solid.

If you are currently building a site that is going to be a critical production website, I would use v4.9.2 until the DotNetNuke team begin using and supporting v5.x as their Professional edition of DotNetNuke - when the DotNetNuke team begin using version 5 as the professional edition then you know that version 5 is stable enough to be used in a critical production environment.
