Hi

I have a folder  which contains the portal source code. I hav another folder which contains the code for the website. I created a website in IIS 6 pointing to the second folder with all the necessary settings. I opened the first folder in Visual Studio. Now I want to connect this portal to the website created in IIS.
How do I get the portal working via visual studio?

Basically, you can't do that, I think.

I'd also be interested in knowing why you want to do this. Is it for debugging?

yes for debugging. Is portal and the website one and the same? I am very much new to DNN.

Yes, portal and website are the same thing.

For debugging, I believe that Michael Washington has a tutorial at his adefwebserver.com site on setting up your environment for debugging. 

If you are really experienced at this you can get your website running and then attach the debugger to the process.  You can do this on a remote host.  I've never tried it, though!

So how do i install IndooGrid now? I want to install IndooGrid in the website.Not in DNN  installation website  but the website which i have created. In DNN installation website ,i have already installed  IndooGrid successfully. I want it to be installed in my website where there is no Host menu from where i can navigate to Module Definition and then install IndooGrid. How do i proceed furthur?
