Hello all,
I have been scouring google for the answer on how to get to the ascx page where the controls for the registration form are shown, but i can not for the life of me find out where they are now. Register.ascx is no where in the files it seems now, and i'm only looking to move the fields around and change the layout of the form to look more like this:

I've found where to do the Login/Retrieve Password but this registration page seems to be eluding me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Registration control is part of login.ascx, which you will find in admin/authentication.
However ... making modifications this way is not recommended. If you ever upgrade, you will have to do this all over again, and there are no guarantees that this won't change.
It's probably a better idea to use modules like Dynamic Registration and Dynamic Login from Dataprings. The cost is a few hundred dollars, won't cost you development time, leaves you on a good upgrade path, and the modules provide a nice variety of tools and functionality.

I have had a look at Dynamic registration it does not seem to allow you to edit the look a feel of the registration form , this is the main thing we are trying to achive.
Any Ideas ?
Thanks

It doesn't allow you to edit the Registration module. Instead, it gives you a highly customizable registration module and you can edit it quite a bit.
If you will go to freedomyears.com and start the registration process, you'll see an example of a customized Dynamic Registration module.

Hello,
Is your skin set to rtl? and you still need to edit the layout of the form?
If you do, I would suggest following Joe's recommendation of using DataSprings Dynamic Registration module. This will allow you to configure a layout that you require for your own custom registration page.

Hi, lee/All i have added some controls on the registration form (labels and text boxes). But i have not been able to get the click event of the "register" link present on the registration page. I need to catch the event to perform some validation actions. Please help if any idea.
