Search button becomes inactive

Hi, I am new to dotnetnuke. I have installed dotnetnuke in the folder c:\abc (Win-2003 server). I have provided IP Address for it under portal/aliases. When running the site using http://localhost/foldername it is working fine from the same machine. But when using http://IP address/foldername, (from the same machine or from different node), it is showing the site but modules buttons becomes in active . For eg. Search button becomes inactive, drop down list of search button not working, on pressing search button, nothing happening. Hope this is sufficient to explain the problem. Regards Sharad Kukreti

Yes. Thats why I have been able to connect the site from different machine using IP address.

Is it possible that you've disabled javascript on the other computer's browser? (I'm just grasping at straws here.)

Same thing is hapening in the localhost machine. As earlier mentioned it is fine when providing http://localhost/site but not functioning with http://ip-address/site (in the same machine)

Now problem is resolved after formating the system and installing fresh dotnetnuke.
