Hi, I hope this is the right place to post! I created two skins, one for the home page and one for the internal pages.
The home page everything works and looks as should, but on the all the interior pages I cannot edit anoy of the modules. You know the drop down arrow to the left of the title of the module? It's not there on the internal pages. If I look in Firebug, I can see the span
< span callback="dnn.xmlhttp.doCallBack('ctldnnACTIONS dnn_ctr980_dnnACTIONS_ctldnnACTIONS','[NODEXML]',this.callBackSuccess,oMNode,this.callBackFail,this.callBackStatus,null,null,0);" postback="__doPostBack('dnn$ctr980$dnnACTIONS$ctldnnACTIONS','[NODEID]Click')" cssicon="ModuleTitle_MenuIcon" mcss="ModuleTitle_SubMenu" mbcss="ModuleTitle_MenuBar" csshover="ModuleTitle_MenuItemSel" css="ModuleTitle_MenuItem" carrowimg="/Images/action_right.gif" imagepaths="/Images/" imagelist="[0]action.gif" sysimgpath="/Images/" orient="0" id="dnn_ctr980_dnnACTIONS_ctldnnACTIONS" name="dnn$ctr980$dnnACTIONS$ctldnnACTIONS" class="ModuleTitle_MenuItem" width="100%">< /span>
But is not showing up on the page. Any idea what I can look for what other information I can provide to assist in helping me with this problem?

The dropdown menus are controlled by the containers that wrap the modules. Try changing to a standard container and see if that works. If it does, that means that something is wrong with your container. |

The issue with that logic is that both the home page skin and the interior skins are all using the same container and the container works just fine on the home page.

IF that's the case, then it's likely that there is something wrong with your second skin file. Can you attach it rather than trying to post it? |

No problem. Thanks for the quick replies.
Attached is both the main and interior skins as well as the container.

Yes, it's definitely a skin issue. I installed both skins on a test site and replicated your behavior. And, it appears that the only real difference between the skins is the presence of some javascripts in the interior skin. If you remove those and the skin doesn't break the dropdown, that's a pointer in the right direction. I also notice that you've not included the html, head, and body tags. You might want to put those in. |

I thought the html, head, and body tags where generated by DNN? Do I just include them as normal and it overwrites DNN's default ones? I'll look into the JS and see if that's the issue. Thanks for looking into it for me! |

Take a look at one of the stock DotNetNuke skins, or view some of our skin tutorials for details. |

Okay, I took out the JS from the Int skin and I reparsed the skin and it still didn't work. :-( |

Okay, i will go back through the skin tutorials. One last thing. I put it back to the default skin and default container that came with DNN install and those drop downs still aren't there. Could it be a setting within the HTML/Text module or something? |

I looked more carefully this time ... I installed the HelitechCSSInt skin on a page. While I don't have the dropdown menus, I do have the Edit Text link with the pencil icon and I also have the Edit Settings icon (The page with the pencil on it). So, I can edit the module settings, but I don't know why the dropdown menu isn't there. |

Hello,
I've installed the skin and done some tests, its the javascript in the int skin that is causing the problem, removing that code fixes the menu disappearing.
I found a solution by using the DropDownActions token in the container rather than the javascript menu in the container. I've attached the container code.
Just a Note: You DO NOT want to include html, head, body tags as these are already created by DotNetNuke.
