Hi (again) guys, here is a tiny situation my client put me in and I don't have an easy way around it ,maybe you can assist me. I set up a new instance for my client on a domain which is hosted on my server www.ccripoll.com now the client informed me that they want me to register a new domain name www.ccripollmasonry.com to make as the main site. So the question is, can I transfer either the database or the instance to the new domain or do I just bite the bullet and re-create the DNN site?

The reason behind the new name is they think it will give them better SEO placement. They are a masonry contractor. I know I can just forward the domain name but it will still go to ccripoll.com. I will still have to keep the ccripoll.com because that is where all of the email is going to.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just point the DNS entry for www.ccripollmasonry.com to the same address as www.ccripoll.com. And, add appropriate portal aliases for the site.
