I am having a major problem with a DNN 4.4.1 install with regards to the Forgot Password page.  I have got modules on my home page that are set to appear on all pages.  However, when clicking this link, none of these modules appear. 

Has anyone else noticed/solved this problem ?

The "Forgot Password" page is a special administrative page. Those modules won't appear there. This behavior may be different in Version 5 of DotNetNuke.

Thank you for your reply.  I don't understand why DNN would create a page that does not use the functionality provided by the framework.  At the moment it is not possible for me to upgrade the portal in question due to restrictions in place from third party modules.

My whole design is based on a 3 column layout with navigation contained in the left and right columns.  This navigation should be visible on all pages of the site for a greater user experience and it looks a little silly when you reach a page with these columns blank.

I am debating writing a custom module that provides the send password functionality.  I could then have my own page setup in DNN with my skin applied and custom module installed.  By doing some URL re-direction i could force my page to be displayed when the user clicks on the standard "Forgot Password" link.  Do  you have any thoughts/comments on using this method?

I had a quick look at this and thought that the retrieve password page might have been skinned from the admin skins, but this is not the case.

It looks as though your only option will be to do a custom module or look at the core code, thanks,
