I 'm just getting started with DNN 4.3.4 and have a question about getting to the system email templates. How do you get to them? Are there any articles or tutorials available on editing and managing system emails?

At present there are not any tutorials for managing the email templates, but you can access them by going to:

Admin / Languages
Click on the Language Editor Link

Scroll down

You will see a list of the emails that are sent out by your portal, you can edit these to suit your needs.

I have created some custom fields for my registration page thanks to the fine tutorials offered here. What I need to do now is edit the email template:

EMAIL_USER_REGISTRATION_ADMINISTRATOR_BODY.Text

Its default code includes the following:

Date: [Date:Current]
First Name: [Profile:FirstName]
Last Name: [Profile:LastName]
Unit: [Profile:Unit]
Street: [Profile:Street]
City: [Profile:City]
Region: [Profile:Region]
Country: [Profile:Country]
Postal Code: [ProfileostalCode]
Telephone: [Profile:Telephone]
Email: [Membership:Email]

I notice from this that Profile is paired with several field names and then membership is paired with email field name. How am I to determine what the pairing is for the new fields I have created?

I tried using Membership and Profile and neither worked as pairs with my custom fields.

I'm sorry.  Could both of you explain in a bit more detail what you need?

If, in the first case, you need to modify the message mailed after registration, you edit that using the Language Editor.  Still, more details on what you are trying and what doesn't work will help.
