I'm new to DNN and am finding this site invaluable, so a big thank you for that.  I have added a (custom) membership number field to the registration profile and it seems to working as required but I cannot find any method of displaying a custom field on the User Accounts page?

I guess I must be missing the obvious as this data is used to validate Private membership.

I don't believe that there is a way of showing custom profile properties on the User Accounts page. You'll have to look at the Profile Properties page instead.

You could always create a list of users and their added membership number using the Reports module.

Thanks for the info, it seems to be a tad counter intuitive, you can search custom fields on User Accounts but not see them.

I shall look at reports - DNN also seems to be a bit light on address fields as well.

What do you mean by "light on address fields"?

Insufficient fields for a fully qualified UK address.  Not a major issue as a village/locality could be included in a City field but I just know that I'll get complaints or questions from users.  Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely impressed with what I have seen so far and the power of this module is not to be overlooked.  I was just hoping to see all the info I want on the user account page.

I have yet to discover any method of displaying the content of a custom field but like I said, I'm new to this.

Where do you want to display custom profile properties? You can do it in the Text/HTML module with token replacement. There are lots of other ways to do it, too. Reports and UDT are two other modules that are available. But, you'll need to identify the application.

I guess it would help to say that we have a organisation of 2000 members and maintaining the web site has become difficult.  I have been meaning to rewrite it for some time and DNN seemed the perfect solution to many of the day to day problems.  I need to have parts of the site member only.  To confirm membership the membership number seemed to be the obvious choice although the post code would be good enough for 99% of UK members.

Adding the custom field MembershipNumber works well but doesn't come through on User Accounts, you need to go one level deeper to edit the User Account and then another level down to Manage Profile.

It would make the job easier to see the custom field at the "top" level so authorisation becomes quicker.  I suspect my lack of experience with DNN is also a problem.

Hi, I too am wanting to show custom profile properties. I see that we can't customize the User Accounts page. I am still using DNN 5.6. My client wants to be able to see what she sees on the User Accounts page along with two custom profile properties we added to the registration page.

I am not a back-end guru. I have tried using the Reports module but am totally lost.

Can you elaborate on this:
