hi , I don’t know if you can help me , here is the site in question http://inconfidence.ds5067.dedicate...dns.co.uk/ and when you click on more info on one of the products on the home page , the content pane seems to change size and go smaller , do you know why this is , or where I can edit it so the content pane is consistent throughout the site ?

 

i have looked at the xml file that controls the itempane and have set it correctly on the main page of the site, but it does not seem to be consistent on the products the product pages get squashed it like this –

So why when I set the main page correctly does the site look correct on the homepage but not the rest of the site because they run off the same file ?

Hi, I think the problem is been caused by your skin and not by Catalook itself.  In the main page, Catalook is forcing the lenght of the pane to accomodate the 3 columns layout you have but in the product info the total width is smaller.
 
You can try to edit your skin to force the content pane to have a fixed width or set it to 100% to extend to it's maximum.

If you cannot edit your skin, use the Edit Skin option in the action menu of your Catalook module and edit the third line:

width="100%">

to

width="200px"> or whathever width you need

Then clik on Store Module Skin. Don't forget to refresh your browser to see the changes.
