Actually, my colleague who posted the original message was not quite accurate in what we are trying to achieve. In fact, we are currently displaying on the site the time from the user profile timezone.
We really want to display the UK time on the site regardless of the timezone of the user. We cannot use the server time because the site is hosted in Canada. So, our best option seems to be the 'site' time that you mention, which I believe is the timezone associated with the 'admin' user?If that is the case, is there a tag we can use so that this time is always displayed, regardless of the timezone of the user?
I guess that disabling the registree's ability to set the timezone is one option. However, in the future development of the site we may wish to have their 'real' time available for other purposes.
I would prefer to simply display either the host time or the admin time. Is this possible?
