Hello Joe, Lee and others:

I have a need to place a javascript clipping just below the body tag of a page in order for this Mouse Trends application to function properly.

The problem I am running into is not knowing exactly how I can do this with DNN.  I know how to place things in the head section but not just below the beginning of the body tag right underneath it before any DNN stuff is placed there.

The Mouse Trends site said this javascript needs to be placed right below the body tag. 

The other question I have is their some universal way of putting a script just underneath the body tag so I wouldn't have to do so page by page.  I know putting scripts in the skin files (.e. ascx files) can partially do that but I don't know that puting this javascript is such a file will guarantee that when you visit a page with that skin the script will appear just belwo the body tag.

Anyway thanks for any help you might have.

I'm always a little puzzled when people want to place javascripts in special places. I guess I don't know enough to understand how that becomes a requirement.

I'd had decent success placing javascript in the skin. I've even had success placing javascript in the header and footer of modules.

My suggestion is that you play around and see what does and what doesn't work.

But, I suspect that you're going to tell me you've already tried that, and that it doesn't work. If so, I'll not have a clue as to a better answer!

If you have to place code outside the body tags, you could do this by editing the default.aspx file in the root of your DotNetNuke installation files. - be aware however,  that this code will then be placed on every single page in your DotNetNuke installation, including all portals.
