I have found that I have to update the web.config file to request a password by providing an e-mail address. OK. I have two questions regarding this process: 1. Where do I find the web.config file... (I think once I find it I can copy/save/edit/upload the new version...)? (Or do I have to edit the web.config file before loading a DNN install...?) 2. Where do I find the text that defines how one is supposed to request a forgotten password? OK, that was really three questions... Thanks!

Hi Greg, I can answer a couple of your questions. 1. Where do I find the web.config file... A: The web.config file is lcoated in the root of where you've copied the files. For instance, if you've created a directory called "DNN484", then unzipped the install files into that, it's within that root. If you can FTP in, you should see that file right in the top directory you are allowed to see. You should be able to edit it if you can access it. It's available to you BEFORE you install and should be edited before you run the install so you can setup database and username/password info. As far as question 2, I'm not sure I understand this. In the Admin menu, under Languages, there is a further selection of "Language Editor". In the menu that shows up, you can change the verbiage of anything that the system runs, including what the web page says when requesting a password be sent. Hope this helps. Mark
