Hi,

I'm probably missing something here but I can't seem to find a way to copy a module.  We have a standard form that we want to use as a template for forms throughout the site and then modify each form accordingly based on the page it is on.

I thought the answer was to "add existing module" in the control panel, but this seems to reference the original module, and when one is updated they all are.  Is there a way to make a copy which acts seperately from the original?

You could add the form module as a new module to a page

Go to the original - export content from module settings menu

Go to new module and import content from the original

I'm using Complete Feedback Designer and there does not seem to be functionality to Import/Export content.

Is there another way of doing this?

Go to the admin control panel, select Copy Page (when viewing the module you wish to copy)

Enter the details for the new page
Scroll to bottom - under 'Copy Page' selet the module to copy
You have options for New / Copy / Reference - select the type you require

Click update

I have just tried this but the "copy" option is greyed out. Is it a case that the module just doesn't support this?

It looks like that is the case then - it may be worth contacting the original module developer and asking them to implement this functionality.
