Control Individual Menu Items

I'm using the HouseMenu to try to create a CSS Menu where each individual menu item has a box behind it with a different color. This is easy with standard HTML/CSS, by applying DIV IDs to the specific menu item, but I don't know how to identify the value of the menu item in DNN. Is this possible? If so, how would I assign this value in a CSS file? This is an example of what the menu is supposed to look like: http://www.h2xmultimedia.com/client...index.html Right now, I have the formatting setup in DNN, but with all of the boxes in the same color. Is there a way I can assign each menu item to it's own color? I'm fairly new to this so any suggestions are appreciated!

The HouseMenu does assign a separate ID to each menu item, so you could specify a different colour for each menu item. To identify the IDS you can view the page source code, or use the web developers toolbar, further details have a look at this tutorial: Troubleshooting DotNetNuke Skins
