Instalation - Domain Name www.mysite.com/DNN Does Not Exist In The Database

Hi, I am new to DNN and am trying to install it. Everything was fine until i got this error message: Domain Name dotnetnuke.mysite.com Does Not Exist In The Database. along with a long explanation. When i checked my dotnetnuke database the Protals database table did not have a single row of entry so obviously the search query was not fetching my site from the database. Can tou please tell me what i might be doing wrong? I had no other problems during installation.

What gave you that error? Seeing the entire error message probably would help.
