I installed DNN via a utility provided by my hosting provider. It prompted me for a folder and I accepted the default install location of \wwwroot\DotNetNukeI want to enter the URL www.MyNewWebSite.org in my browser for my DNN site to show up. Should I have installed DNN in the root directory or is there a way to get my address to point to the \DotNetNuke folder? Or can I publish my site in the root folder?I'm a first time user and a little confused. Thanks!
After thinking about this for a while, here's a better example of what I want. When I go to the DNNCreative home page here is how the URL is displayed.
http://www.dnncreative.com/Home/tab...fault.aspx
Mine looks like thishttp://MyNewWebSite.org/dotnetnuke/...fault.aspxI don't really want to show the reference to the DotNetNuke folder in the URL. How can I over come this? Should I have pointed the DNN install to my root folder? Thanks!
