Hello All,

I have a main portal (www.pwcparks.org) and a child portal (www.splashdownwaterpark.com).  I need to be able to track this using Google Analytics.  The problem is that I've already placed the Google Analytics code from my first website in the default.aspx page inside the HEADER tags.  I've now created another portal called www.Splashdownwaterpark.com and need to put new analytics tracking code into the Header, but that would require me erasing my old analytics code for my first website.

So, how can I get the analytic tracking code for each website if I'm using the same default.aspx?

Is there a module that takes care of this?  I'm using DNN 4.5.1 but am in the process of upgrading to 4.8.2.

I'd probably suggest waiting until after you've done the conversion, and I hope that you'll upgrade to 4.8.3.

There are modules for Google Analytics, or you can put the codes in Text/HTML modules -- put the actual code in the "Header" of the module. Then configure the module to be on all pages. The will work, except for administrative pages. If you want the Google Analytics stuff to appear on absolutely every page, it's better to put in directly into the skin file, rather than Default.aspx.

Just use a different skin for each portal. If you use the site skin, the skins can look the same, but each portal will use the appropriate skin for that site.
