I am trying to add a custom field to my user profiles. I have followed your tutorial. I have added the list name and populated it with names. When i try to edit a user profile the list is empty. I am using DNN 4.5.5. Any ideas

If the name of the dropdown list has spaces in it, the list won't display properly. This is a bug in DotNetNuke. It is fixed in 4.6.2. If you need to continue to use 4.5.5, use a list name with no spaces. Use the localized text to display friendlier text to the user.
