In this tutorial we demonstrate how to change the default DotNetNuke text editor from the Telerik RAD Editor back to the previous FCK Editor. Although the Telerik RAD Editor has lots of useful new features, there are some features in the FCK Editor which are still useful such as displaying toolbars related to a users security role and configuring the FCKEditor functions on a portal, module and page basis.

In this tutorial we demonstrate how to use the Recycle Bin in DotNetNuke.

Any modules or pages that are deleted in your DotNetNuke portal are placed in the recycle bin and are not physically deleted. This allows you to easily recover any accidentally deleted modules or pages and is often a useful feature that is overlooked in DotNetNuke.

We demonstrate how to fully use the Recycle Bin and get the most from this useful feature. We also show you how to permanently delete items to ensure that your Database is regularly cleaned of old content.
