Hi, I have another strange problem (seems like there are a lot of 'strange problems' in DNN 5). For some reason, my image folder is not viewable from within the filemanager. I logged in with an administer account and with a host account, but the only folder under the root that is viewable, is the templates folder. I look at the filesystem of my server and the folders are there. I can also reference images from within my contentpages. I already noticed this problem with another site, there I used the Dynamic Forms module, but the default DynamicForms_Uploads folder wasn't viewable in the DNN filemanager, although the folder was in the filesystem. Currently I'm using DNN 5.2.1. Anyone else encountered this problem? greetings, Anthony Belgium

What are the paths to the folders in question?

I have the same problem. Please can someone tell me the solution? The path in question is \Portals\0\images.

Assuming that you login as admin, you should see a folder named "images" under Portal Root when you expand it.
If you don't see the folder, try clicking the Synchronize Files link in the file manager (you will also want to check the Recursive box.

Hi Joe,
No, it doesn't make any difference if I'm logged in as an admin or not: the folder is still not visible. The synchronize files button didn't help at first either: but when I changed the folders view and then synchronised, it showed the images and other folders. Don't know why it works like that, but thanks anyway for the tip

Hi Joe, I followed your advice, clicking the Synchronize Files and checking the Recursive box and now I can see the 'images' folder. Thanks
Previously I clicked the Synchronize Files button but didn't check the Recursive box. What is the meaning of this checkbox? greetings, Anthony Belgium

"Recursive" means that the file synchronization follows the entire directory tree below the one that you have selected. Normally, if you select the root directory and recursive, that will hit everything.
