I have a portal named portal#1 in DNN. I have added a new portal called portal#2. While creating portal#2 i added a new admin called admin#2.

However when i login with Portal#2 with admin#2 credentials i am unable to access the admin menu. I logged off portal#2 and logged in once again with superuser (host) account. Now i was able to access Host menu. But i am still unable to get access to admin menu. I need the admin menu to change some site setting & page settings

Any suggestions on how to overcome this? Thanks in advance

Just to add to what is written above - admin#2 was created while creating portal#2.(While creating a new portal we are prompted to add a admin)

Which version of DotNetNuke?

Does Portal #1 work just fine?

Portal#1 works fine. The admin and host logins work well. The issue ijavascript:WebForm_DoPostBackWithOptions(new WebForm_PostBackOptions("dnn$ctr419$NTForums$AF_TopicView$amQuickReply$lnkPost", "", true, "", "", false, true))s with portal#2. We are using DNN 5.1.4

You might want to try upgrading to 5.2.

I am re-opining this topic. Will  this issue will be resolved if i upgrade to 5.2 ? Is there no fix for this in DNN 5.1.4. The weird thing is that even the 'host' login cannot access the admin menu. Whenever an admin menu item is clicked it gets redireceted to the home page. Is there something that can be done at the database level to get this resolved. Migration to 5.2 would be the last option for me

Thanks in advance
