Hi there,
Im working on a couple of sites for non-profit organisations (so we dont have any money!) and wanted to ask your collective opinion about menus. I see the housemenu has been discussed on the DNNCreative tutorials, but it has some limitations - as far as I can see, when you want to add another root-level item to your menu, you have to adjust the skin file so it can show children of that root level (correct me if im wrong).
So which do you think is better, housemenu or snapsis (or something else?). What I want to achieve is something like this:
http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/pro_drop3.html (the overlap in this is not something im after. Just a horizontal menu with images and flyouts)
A simple drop-down menu with 2 or at most 3 levels. I'd *like* to use images to style the root menu items and maybe a gradient for the flyouts. It would be nice to have an animated flyout with transparency, but im prepared to go with the basic coloured flyout due to budget constraints! Of course, I want the menu to be search engine compatible so solpart is out of the question.
Cheers for your help!
