Hello All.. I have a need for a completely independent vert. menu from the default NAV menu and what I viewed in the tutorials, and I haven't gone through them all yet, and my own research I basically have 2 options. Use the Links module and style that via CSS or create a complete CSS Menu. My question is if I create a CSS menu and hand this off to a customer and say they want more links, buttons, whatever, they wouldn't be able to simply add that themselves,(assuming they don't know how to modify the CSS code),would they? If I truely want this to be hands off, for me, I'd need to go the Links module route, correct? Any suggestions and/or thoughts? Thanks, Bob

I would recommend NavXP from Avatar Software. You install it as a module and configure it from the page. There are a number of choices on how to set it up and how to choose the pages that are linked from each instance.

or another alternative is snapsis.com Nav Menu, thats a pure CSS menu, but you set this menu up as you would with the core menu where you stye it in the skin.css file.

One great advantage to the NavXP module is that you can use it like a module. You can install it on one or more page and, if that's what you want to do, customize it on each page. Or, you can choose to display the module on all pages.
I also like being able to configure with a "settings" kind of display and live on the site. And, you can choose which pages to display with each instance.
You can also adjust the styling from a settings type of interface.

Joseph, Lee... Thanks for the suggestions, I really like the NavXP menu, the fact that is a module makes it even better, at least for me. Thanks, Bob
