Hello All
I have 2 servers running DNN and SQL 2005

1 Server has 2 DNN Sites, the other server has 1 site.

I want to consolidate them to a one New server.

Any Ideas would have me get started.

Depending on the modules that you use, you might get a good bit of this done by exporting a template (including content) of the single site on one server, and then creating a third site on the other server using that template.

Hello,

I would try to create a backup of the DotNetNuke installation files and database and restore them on the other server. - just like you would if you are transferring a localhost installation to a live website.

These may come in handy:

If, as Lee suggested, you want the two installations on a single server, then follow his advice and not mine. My advice was intended to consolidate all three sites into a single DotNetNuke installation.

Another way is to create virtual machine(s) with MS Virtual Server or VMware, or Virtual PC. You can convert one of the servers to virtual machine.

Depends on your needs actually.
