Please let me know from  where to switch off (un-check) Site & Event log.

There are settings on both the Host Settings and Site Settings pages that control how much is retained in the Site Log.

On the Event Log you can determine which items are logged and how many are saved.

See Site logs, Event logs and Scheduler for more.
