Hi,

I want to check the Site Log feature. But it's showing that Your Hosting Provider Has Disabled the Site Log Viewer Feature For Your Portal. The Logs can be viewed offline and are available in the \Logs\ subfolder of your Portal's Home Directory. I contacted with them but they replied me

We do not have a detail understanding of the site to really provide an opinion - you have to check the pages or have the developer check to see if they will permit relaying.

As for the incorrect url and 404 - again we are not sure how the site is index and has those url changed - as for the 500 error is common to get some as it is a DNN site and older versions are subject to error plus the skin may also have issues - again please check with the developer - hope this helps

Can you plz help me what this means or what we can do to maybe fix it or get the issue resolved
?  If it is nothing to be concerned about please let us know either way. Thanks.

Please Help.

Go to the Host menu and look at Portal Settings. You'll find Site Log Buffer settings under the Advanced Settings, Other Settings section. I think that you need to have non-zero values there for the Log to work.

There is also a setting in the Admin, Site Settings, Advanced Settings, Host Settings section.

Joe is exactly right with his suggested fix for your problem. I am very new with DotNetNuke and ran into this exact same thing just last week. Make sure to login with the Host Account and navigate to Host > Host Settings > Advanced Settings > Other Settings. On that form, tick the box for 'Enable Site Log Buffer' and enter a non-zero value into 'Site Log History (days)'. That will be the number of days of history of site log activity that will be kept. I just stuck it at 7 for now to see what happens. I am not sure about performance ramifications when changing that number to a much bigger value. Once you have clicked Update to save these values and then go back to the Admin > Site Log page, the message should have changed to now say that 'Your hosting provider has limited your portal to N days of Site Log History' and you should be able to view the reports.

What I didn't realize is that if you login with the Host account and navigate to the Admin > Site Settings > Advanced Settings panel, that there is a Host Settings section that is available into which one can enter the Site Log History value. That section is not available when logged in with the admin account. However, if going that route, one might still need to go over to the other Settings form under the Host menu to tick the Enable box.

Once you start enabling logs, also make sure you schedule to delete the old logs:
