Hello

I would be interested in a site review for: artreach.net

It is a fairly new site and I am still working on it, what do you think so far?

Any suggestions how this might be improved or how it might be made more user friendly?

The skin is created using css divs and the menu is from Snapsis (css)

Look forward to viewing your comments.

Thanks

Lynn

Hi Lynn,

Nice design, I recognise a few elements in there ;-) !

the first thing I noticed is that on a screen resolution of 1024x768 - the bottom horizontal scrollbar appears, I would try to avoid that.

It has a lot of problems at 800x600, which I think is created by the artreach logo.

It's cool that the logo stays still when you resize the screen, but I think the artreach logo will be better placed towards the left of the screen above the home section of the menu, it seems to get in the way when viewed at 1024x768

Below the menu, the horizontal line that goes across the width of the free content panes, I don't think there is a need for it.

the menu may be improved by adding some padding to the top and bottom of the main menu and perhaps lightening the colours of the borders, the submenu borders may also benefit from thinning.

'You are here' I would have thought would be more user-friendly underneath the menu.

Well, there's a few things need to think about, but overall looks good.

Thanks,

Hi Lee

Thanks for your comments - very useful to have another viewpoint. Thanks for pointing out the the problems at 800x600.
