Hi, I was playing around with the "login" page and I forgot to include the login module on my newly created page. The result of it, I couldn't login anymore to my portal and after I did some research I found the very helpful tool from John Mitchel the "OpenSesame" page.

This done the job and changed my setting back to my old login page, so it's working fine again. But now I realized something strange, but I don't know if this is related to the previous issue.

My portal is in a subfolder and I had no problems to call the startpage without the pagename ("default.aspx"). But when I do this now, the home page doesn't compile as I was it before.

I've tried already to restart the application, uploaded the skin again, but all this didn't helped...

Hope someone has an idea how to fix this that the homepage appears right again after entering the domain name without the page name.

Thanks so much in advance for any help on this...

John's module shouldn't have caused this. Did you do anything after running his OpenSesame page?

John's Open Sesame simply changes one item in the database: it removes the link to your login page.

When I look at the page source of the page that gets served when I go to http://www.creativemind-web.com/herogram, what I see look like a skin file. I'd look in the root directory to see if you somehow copied a skin file into the root directory and named with such that IIS will try to serve it.

If this is confusing, "print" a listing of your root directory and post it here.

I've had a look in the root directory and you were right. Thanks so much for the hint. I had a index.htm file in the root sitting and I fully understand that error now. It's solved...thank's again...
