Apologies msofian, I accidentally deleted your post, here's the question:

hi I get this error message: Server Error in '/thebdg2' Application. Configuration Error Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately. Parser Error Message: An error occurred loading a configuration file: Access to the path 'c:\inetpub\wwwroot\web.config' is denied. Source Error: [No relevant source lines] Source File: c:\inetpub\wwwroot\web.config Line: 0 Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:2.0.50727.832; ASP.NET Version:2.0.50727.832

How can I fix this problem and make the web site run ?

Is this your first attempt at installing DotNetNuke or has an error occurred with a existing installation of DotNetNuke?

If it is your first attempt at installing DotNetNuke it may be related to not setting up the correct file permissions. If you go through the installation wizard when installing DotNetNuke there is an option to test permissions, click on this link and it will inform you if the correct permissions are set for running DotNetNuke.

These may help:

Yes, it sure looks like permission for the (aspnet) application (DotNetNuke) to read web.config isn't set correctly.
