Hi Lee. I am on the latest version of DNN 3.xxxx. The user account module functionality is so confusing for a user. Is there a way to get rid of the "visibility" data in profile properties and to hide the "Manage Services" all together? Or to get everything on one page? I got the registration page to work like that but don't know how to do it when a user wants to manage their account.

Thanks

Lisa

Hello,

Go to: Admin / User Accounts
Click on the User Settings link

You have a couple of options:

Default Profile Visibility Mode: if you set this to admin, only admin will be able to view the options

OR

Display Profile Visibility: Untick this to completely remove the display of them.

Thanks,

Lee - thanks for your response. Unfortunately, I don't see either of those options. Is is because I'm using DNN 3 instead of 4?

Thanks

You can see the details of this here:
User Settings (part 2) in DotNetNuke 4.3 and 3.3
(1 video – 4min)

They added those options when they released version 4.3.5, so if you upgrade to 3.3.7 you will be able to access those options, thanks,
