hello, my site is jewellers-online.net and as you can see my account module is in the left pane and is fine in firefox - however in ie it is pushing the content pane over does anyone know how to rectify this problem? regards

The key to fixing this is in your skin. Without knowing your skin design, it's hard to tell you how to fix it, but:

1. Make sure that the login module is in the "contentpane."
2. Go to module settings and center the module

If you are using the default, you can't do these steps, so it might make sense to create a special login page so that you can place the login module exactly where you want it.

Oh, and I notice that your pages (viewed via page source) don't have a lot of the usual DotNetNuke comments in them. Which version of DotNetNuke are you using?
