I just watched your video. Good as ever ;)

One point I am missing: Do you know a workaround for replacing the "Skin Banners" in the skin (top right) with "Module Banners"?

Is it a lot of effort to change the skin so that a module can be placed at this position?

Hello,

Glad you found the video useful.

All you have to do is remove the [BANNERS] token and in its place put the code in to turn it into a content pane. You will then be able to add a banner module into that area, ie, in the DNN Blue skin:

replace:
<TD vAlign="middle" align="right">[BANNER]</TD>

with

<TD class="bannerpane" id="BannerPane" runat="server" valign="middle" align="right"></TD>

Thx a lot,

I did not know that it is that easy to make a new pane.

Yes skinning is pretty straight forward, have you checked out the skinning videos from issues 5 & 6 onwards? Issue 5 & 6 give you the basic introduction and then each issue after that builds on the previous knowledge:

Issue no 5 & 6

Lee, I stumbled upon your site late last night while doing some research on DNN; your site has compelled me to take the proverbial plunge.

I plan to subscribe next pay day, given the wealth of information you provide. Good show, mate.
