Hi,

I am using Simple Red Leaf and I have a problem which i find very difficult to fix.
Everything (both for 3 and 5 panes settings) works perfectly except for one thing:

When I add the Forum module, leftpane (containing HouseMenu) goes to the bottom of the page (below contentpane).
There must be something wrong with CSS at HouseMenu or Forum module. I'm trying to find it, but its very difficult.

I'm running newest DNN, everything with default Simple Red Leaft options. Anyone tried adding Forum module to this skin?

Hello,

Which forum are you using? I will do some tests. - I suspect it is caused by tables in the forum module expanding wider than the CSS skin will allow and therefore causing the menu to display beneath the content pane.

I'm using the core forum module (the default one) for DotNetNuke.
It's the newest version - 03.20.09.

I added DnnBB module (from www.dnnbb.net) instead, and it seems to be working fine.
However, this forum seems to be very simple. Does anyone know any other, good and free forum modules?

You really are putting the horse before the cart. The core DNN Forum module is a very good module. Your problem is that the DNN Forum module isn't fitting nicely into the skin.

The whole idea of DNN is to use the skin to determine the site design and then to put modules inside of the skin.

Which of the Red Leaf Skins are you using? Which container are you using for the Forum module? Have you made any changes to the skin?

As a test, I installed HouseMenu Professional 1.2.1 and the two Red Leaf Skins to a test site that had the DNN core module already installed. I chose both of the Red Leaf Skins for the page skin of the page that contained the forum module. It looked just fine with the HouseMenu and with both skins.

You might want to go back, reinstall the DNN Forum module, and do some more testing. You might also want to look at the page with one of the standard DNN skins applied to the page to make sure that it shows up ok with those skins.
