I successfully installed DNN 6 on my local machine using IIS 7.5. Its working good. When I attach to the Database.mdf file with SQL Server Management Studio 2008 r2 and detach after few seconds, then I tried to run the website its going to New installation wizard.

Error:The Auto option has been disabled as the DotNetNuke Application cannot connect to a valid SQL Server database. You can continue to use either of the other two Wizard options and configure the Database settings at the appropriate Wizard step.

I didn't do anything with database.

How can i resolve the problem?

That behavior of running the installation wizard indicates a problem connecting to the database.

I would do this:
1. Attach the database
2. Open web.config and edit the connection strings that are appropriate for yous SQL Server. Use the credentials that you use to connect using SQL Server Management studio.
