We created a new website and pointed the domain to it (www.ourdomain.org) but since we still had some deep content that we needed to gradually pull into the new site we moved our old DNN site to a subdomain, old.ourdomain.org. Now when I go to that subdomain our old home page appears just fine. But I can't get to any of the other pages. None of the links work and trying to go directly to a page (old.ourdomain.org/Default.aspx?tabid=111) also produces and error. It seems to be trying to go to the www.ourdomain.org rather than old.ourdomain.org - which is where the entire DNN site now resides.

How can I fix it so I can access content from the old site? I can't even log in as admin since that also tries to redirect to the www domain.

This has really created a crisis for us.

Did you add an entry to the PortalAlias table in your database for old.ourdomain.org? Without that, DotNetNuke doesn't know about the new (sub) domain name.

No I didn't. Where do I find the PortalAlias table?

Thanks so much for your reply.

PortalAlias is a table in the DotNetNuke database.

Normally you would adjust this on the Site Settings page before you move the site. Since the site is moved, you'll need to go in with SQL Server Management Studio and add an appropriate entry for your portal. You will need to know the portal number -- which you can find by looking at the other entries in the table.
