Does anyone know if there is a way to have a user go to a private page without logging in? I guess it would be something like a URL that has the login/password encrypted in it already, therefore, the user bypassing the login/password page.

I have a survey that we want secured, but instead of users registering to fill out the survey, we want them to click on a URL in an email that takes them directly to the survey page without having to log in. Is that possible? Or does anyone know of a different way of doing this?

If you want the private page to be protected, you are going to have to have some way of "logging in." There may be a module available that lets you pass login credentials via a querystring. You might also be able to do it with a cookie. But, if the page is to be protected, you have to have some sort of login. Going "directly to the survey page without having to login" is not compatible with having that page protected.

On the other hand, it's no problem having that page just hidden from site navigation and not protected. Then you just have to know the URL to get there, and you could provide that in any number of ways.
