Hello All, I have a DNN5 site and my customer has asked me to create a Contact us button and Directions button. I need to place the buttons in the header on all pages. I was able to create the new header with the new buttons now Im just left with the task of making them work. How do I make it so someone can click those buttons and they bring you to the directions or contact pages? I attached a picture of the site below with the new header. I'm sure I have to edit the skin is this a function of the skin or container? Can anyone recommend a tutorial that would cover this? Thanks All Tom

Not sure what you are asking - you should be able to just create an image button link...

Then you can either put the code in a header pane in code view (you would probably need a transparent png for this - glad we don't have to worry about ie 6 anymore!) or you can put the code directly in the skin.

Can you be more specific?

^_^

sure my web site is twinsprucepa.com if you look I have the header in place but when you click the contact us or directions button on the top it doesn't bring you anywhere. Can you tell me how to add the code to make these buttons work. Do I have to do this in Visual Studio. I didn't develop the template I'm just maintaining the site for my customer.

You need to add the link to the button. Right now it is just an image - no link at all! open it with notepad if you want - you just need to add the link to the code if the images are in the template. ^_^

go to the directions page and copy the url; go back to the button and make it a hyper link and paste the url. Now when you click on the button it will take you to the directions page.
