Hi guys,

Following the DNNC instructions in issue#22, I was able to move my website (5.2.3) up to my live server.  Pretty straightforward and everything seemed to work fine.  As expected, I had some problems with broken links to images due to the localhost portion of the URL.

I logged into my live site and opened up my HTML module to edit the code so the images would display.  However for some reason, any edits I make in the HTML module (text, URL, etc.) aren't saved when I save the module - they revert back to the original.

I'm running "Direct Publish" in all the HTML modules. The version history also shows that changes were published.

The only way, I've been able to fix this issue is by saving all the data, deleted the HTML module, re-adding the module, then pasting back in the revised code to populate the content.

Seems like I can make other changes to the site (settings, adding pages, etc.).  I'm just having issues with the HTML module.

I'd hate to have to re-add all the HTML modules.  Any thoughts on what the problem might be?

Thanks,
~Chris

Caching, caching, caching.

Could be heavy caching in the host settings or caching in your browser.

Try downloading a development tool and clearing your browser cache. Try opening page in a different browser.

If you can't change host settings, try waiting a day...

If problem persists, find out if there are multiple worker processes in the application pool of the website.

Hope this helps!

Check to see that there is not a large cache time associated with the modules, too.

Go to Host Settings.

In the Advance Settings, Performance area click the Clear Cache link.

At the bottom of the page, click Restart Application.

If this causes your module contents to display correctly, then caching is the problem.
