Hi,

I moved my DNN website to other hosting.
On the old hosting all modules were working properly.
On the new host the Announcements module has problem. I have problem with Read More link when Link Type is set to file

Ex. I set the link to file http://www.domain.com/portals/1/test.txt

URL created by the module is http://www.domain.com/LinkClick.aspx?link=test.txt&tabid=118&mid=681

The problem is that when I click the Read More link, it is opened an empty text file (both by download and by open directly)

When I type the URL http://www.domain.com/portals/1/test.txt then the file is opened with the its content.

I am using Announcements module 03.01.00 on DNN 337.

If anyone knows a good solution to this please let me to know.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You will probably have to recreate the links. Edit the module content, highlight the link, and then use the link tool.

I recommend PowerDNN for DotNetNuke Hosting.
