Hi Everyone,

Is there any way from where i will get all the file extensions which are valid in Dotnetnuke 5.0 while packging our module. Actually i i crete a zip file for my module and try to upload it into the DotNetNuke 5.0 framework it shows me errors message INVALID FILE EXTENSIONS . then just with my guess i delete some files and then again try but it is nota good way. Could you please help me on this.

Thanks a lot
Akshay

This is a guess, but ' invalid file extensions' may be referring to the file types that you are allowed to upload to your DotNetNuke installation.

To check this, go to:

HostSettings / advanced settings / other settings

And check the list of allowable file extensions

ok I don't think it is related to the above that I mentioned.

I have just tried to install a 3rd party module in DNN5 and get the invalid file extensions error.

When you receive this error tick 'Ignore File Restrictions'

It will provide a warning - you then need to click on browse again + select the module zip file to install.
