We use the antiquated mobinuke module to deliver a smartphone version of our website. I'm not a developer by any means but our site is stale and needs some housekeeping. The skin used for mobinuke is displaying a copyright date of 2012. It isn't pulling that date from the same place the desktop site does (Admin-Site Settings). So it's buried somewhere and I need to manually change it. From Firefox View Source -

However, I'm not finding that when keyword searching through all the human readable files in the skin folder. What can I do?

You will want to take a look at the "Skin" files that you are using. If the skin uses the Copyright skin object it will take the text from the Site Settings entry.

From your description, it sounds like the copyright text might be coded directly into the skin files. If that's the case, it would not be difficult to modify the skin and replace the text with the Copyright skin object. Then you will be able to change the copyright date more easily. You might have to add a little CSS to the the text styled correctly to match the site.

Yes, it must be hard coded somewhere because Site Settings is set to 2014 as it should be. The trouble here is I do not know which file I need to modify. I've done word searches all over the files in the mobinuke skin folder and I'm not seeing it. Isn't there a way one could easily know all the files used to render a DNN web page and then I can just pick through them until I find the code?

It will be in the .ascx files in the skin folder.
